Our mission is to be the voice for the ready mix industry
in Illinois; to promote the use of quality ready mixed
concrete through innovative educational programs;
and to accomplish common goals as an
organization that cannot be done individually.
Producer Membership
Producer Membership shall be limited to any individual, partnership, firm or corporation engaged in the business of merchandising ready-mixed concrete at retail, or those engaged in distributing, producing or transporting ready-mixed concrete, all subject to such rules, regulations and conditions as may be prescribed in the by-laws of the Association from time to time. IRMCA Producer Membership is based on the number of ready mix trucks licensed on the 1st Day of January for that year’s membership. A Producer Member’s necessary level of support shall be based on “all” those entities (i.e. those entities owned at least 51% in common) that do business in the State of Illinois.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership shall be limited to any individual, partnership, firm or corporation engaged in the business as equipment and truck manufacturers and distributors, petroleum products dealers, cement manufacturers and distributors, sand and gravel producers and cement truckers, and any individual, partnership, firm or corporation which offer a related service, subject to such rules, regulations and conditions as may be prescribed by the by-laws or by the Board of Directors.
Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership shall be limited to any individual, partnership or corporation related to and desirous of supporting the Illinois Ready Mixed Concrete Association Industry and which does not meet the criteria of Regular Producer or Associate Membership. Affiliate Members shall be subject to such rules, regulations and conditions as may be prescribed by the by-laws or the Board of Directors. Affiliate Members shall have no voting rights as a member of the Association and shall hold no elective office.
Contractor Membership
Contractor Membership shall be limited to any individual, partnership, or corporation which is an end user of Ready Mixed Concrete and desirous of supporting the Illinois Ready Mixed Concrete Association Industry and which does not meet the criteria of Regular Producer, Associate or Affiliate membership. Contractor Members shall be subject to such rules, regulations and conditions as may be prescribed by the by-laws or the Board of Directors. Contractor Members shall have no voting rights as a member of the Association and shall hold no elective office or appointments.
